Meaningful Things of 2025

I’m glad I’m still drawing. I feel like this year I was able to learn a lot. I stepped just a little outside of my comfort zone, and because of that, I was able to improve.

Progress is never linear. There were moments — like how most creative people experience it — when I didn’t like my own art and felt like I was bad at drawing. But even then, I never stopped. So, kudos to me for that. Drawing made my year better, as silly as that might sound.

I want to give thanks to:

My friends, of course. I want to thank everyone who made my year special, and I’m grateful for the new friends I made along the way. Thank you to my friends: Andy, Ari, Lau, Nexus, Keith, Silver, Gatopan, Mascarita, Hespi, Astor, Saiko, Szea, Angelice, Fatih, Yannie, Inspector, Pops, Real, Alazia, and everyone from the movie club, the mound, and elsewhere.

A huge shout-out to Fatih, who helped make this website real. You’re the best.

My cats. I love them.

My job. I like helping people, and being able to do that every day is pretty cool. It teaches me a lot, helps me improve my language skills, and definitely builds my patience (lol).

College. I enrolled myself so suddenly that, when I look back, I can't think it was anything but an impulsive decision, but oh well? I actually really enjoy it.

I came to the conclusion that I, in fact, love linguistics and hate education (teaching) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. My teachers were awesome and I was able to learn a bunch.

So, thank you - to everyone and to everything, the good and the bad.

I’m excited to see what next year will bring: how many more cool people I’ll meet, and how much more I’ll learn.

Happy New Year!

go back :3
